TPX Mouse

The TPX mouse is very special: instead of containing a ball, it has two plastic wheels (one horizontally and one vertically), which rub against the surface where the mouse slides, a processor (8748) running at 11MHz and three internal connectors touching each wheel.

The efficiency of this system is dubious, but you can adapt the mouse to convert it into an optical version (see Links).

It was released in Brazil

  • in 1986 by TPX with the Input Digital version of the Cheese drawing program on cartridge
  • in 1987 by Input Digital in a box containing both the TPX Mouse (renamed Input Mouse) and the Cheese cartridge
