FMPSG 014 - Mystic Aurora
Since we last reported about FMPSG, no less than 5 releases of these Japanese chiptune audio CDs were released. Each of these CDs contains one or more tracks composed with MSX soundchips by well known Japanese chiptune artists like Wiz, Beepboy and Chabinn.
FMPSG 015 - Strawberry
On May 1st, 2011 - during the Music + Media Mix Market (M3) - the fifteenth edition of FMPSG, a Japanese series of audio CDs containing tracks from various Japanese (MML) chiptune composers, is to be released.
FMPSG preview disc MP3's
FMPSG is a Japanese chip music club, who have just released a 'preview disc'. This CD will be sold at the Japanese comic/cult shop Comic Market 65. On the CD you will find 19 songs, of which several were created on MSX.
On May 1st, the third edition of the compilation record series FMPSG will be released during the M3 music hobbyists fair in Japan. The record will contain several songs created on retro platforms, including one or more MSX tracks created by Symray Scopio.
FMPSG006 - Cyanic beat
The FMPSG group have announced FMPSG - Cyanic beat is to be released on October 9th during the m3 hobby music market. The CD is to contain 27 tracks (8 originals and 17 re-arrangements).
During the upcoming Music + Mediamix Market in Tokyo, on October 8th, the Japanese Doujin Circle will release a new edition in their FM chiptune compilation series: FMPSG008 - Flower in the darkness. Again, the Audio CD contains several tracks that were composed on MSX.
In December 2003 we reported about the FMPSG CD containing several chiptune songs, including some created on MSX. As the release of this CD turned out to be a success a second part in the FMPSG series was created. It will be released on the M3 market on October 9th.
FMPSG5 - Elemental master
This Saturday, the fifth edition of the FMPSG compilation series will be released on the M3 (Music + Mediamix Market) event in Tokyo, Japan. The album contains 27 chiptune tracks, including 4 tracks recorded from MSX.
Deep in the dark moisty dungeons below Wolf's studio, the evil skeleton who keeps track of all the backup CD's and does all the financial administration, notified Wolf about four unreleased covers. Since these covers were done in 2001 already, they have a slightly dated sound.
