Yesterday the team of SuperSoniqs went to the MSX meeting in Mariënberg to show Franky, the Sega VDP extension for MSX1 and higher. Not only did they manage to show some Sega games running on MSX, but they also showed MSX1 games running on Franky!

New tools and changes for the Playsoniq toolset

In 1998, the company "Forte II Games" made a very small MSX board for arcade machines, using a modified bios/game. It was assumed lost until today when Alexandre Souza of Tabajara Labs found a working piece. The ROM code was extracted and made to work in BlueMSX.

In the Sakhr museum, three previously unknown Arabic MSX models were discovered:

  • A red Sakhr AX-230 MSX1
  • Another hybrid MSX/Sega Megadrive: the Sakhr AX-660 MSX1
  • The Al-Fateh 100

With regards to the Al-Fateh 100, a Tunisian MSX user reported that the machine might have nothing
