Italian MSX fan KdL, known by 1chipMSX owners for his 1chipMSX firmware OCM-PLD, has updated his website with a new version of the unofficial MSX3 logo. The package contains both the unofficial MSX3 logo v1.06 and v2.00.

unRLEWB is an ASM and C compatible decompression routine that can decompress 'Wonder Boy' style RLE.

Adriano Camargo Rodrigues da Cunha reported on the MSX Mailinglist that Eric Boon and Manuel Bilderbeek made a new script to compile UZIX programs under Linux.It is now possible to use subdirectories when compiling programs with this script. As most of you probably know, UZIX is the UNIX-port for MSX.

At the 2013 MSX fair in Nijmegen some of the openMSX members took some measurements of a V9938 using a logic analyzer. After analyzing this data, they figured out when exactly the VDP reads or writes VRAM for which purpose.

At MSX Banzai!, the V9990 (GFX9000) Power Basic manual was updated with information for using COLOR=(p,r,g,b) to set 15-bit RGB values.

Prodatron, the developer who never seems to take a break from expanding SymbOS, currently has his driver for the Graphics9000 nearly ready. Two videos of SymbOS in action, using the Graphics9000 configuration, have been placed on YouTube.

ViewMSX, a new MSX-graphics viewer for Windows, was just added to MRC's downloads database. With ViewMSX you can easily view many different MSX graphics files, including compressed files from programs such as AGE, Graph Saurus or even the ancient Dynamic Publisher.

ViewMSX, a MSX-graphics viewer for Windows, that was recently added to MRC's downloads database was just updated. The latest version of ViewMSX, v0.03, can now also view G9B files that are larger than the actual screen-size of the particular display mode. This means you can now view images that may be as large as the image-space.
