(address 6CC0 - 6E75)

大国支配終局をむかえた20世紀末世界 ...

Nobody can do it?

Google Translate result:
The end of the 20th century when the powerful powers ruling ended ...

Bing Translator result:
End of the 20th century was the ultimate superpower domination world...

Excite result:
20 end of a century world which met a major power rule ending.

I think it's probably something like:
"At the end of the 20th century, the rule of a major world power was about to end..."

I'd probably go with something like:

"End of the 20th century; a world on the verge of ending its dependence on the rule of national superpowers."

It's a bit of a liberal translation, but it captures the idea of what's being said.

The biggest difference between this and the machine-translated result is that it seems pretty clear this line isn't referring to the end of a single world superpower, but rather the collapse of world superpowers in general. That MIGHT not be the case (Japanese isn't very good with differentiating between singular/plural!), but singular/plural is usually determined by context, and to me, it would seem odd to have the subject of this sentence be "world" if there's only one superpower that's ending, unless the writing in this game is just THAT DAMNED DRAMATIC. Wink

As an aside, have you guys ever heard of the plugin called Rikaichan (for Firefox) or Rikaikun (for Chrome)? It's a plugin that you can enable, then just mouse over any Japanese word and it'll give you a little popup text box with definitions for that word listed in it. It's super-useful for scanning over text dumps that feature vocabulary you're not familiar with, and can help immensely with translation. (It can sometimes be hard to get Rikaichan to work when viewing a text file directly in Firefox, but you can always go to www.editpad.org and copy/paste the text into there, and Rikaichan will work flawlessly on Editpad every time.)

Just a suggestion for your future work here!

DJANGO, would you allow me to proofread the 'script' to improve the English a bit and help you with the translation of certain character names?
I really love this game (and your work) very much and I would like to help you in giving it the best translation as possible.

Yes I need some help with the translation of the texts, but I have done some very big research on the names and I am sure of them. Look at the links I put in my French walkthrough on names. Otherwise, give me the names you do not agree with

Walkthrough

You can download the "Table file" to use with the Hex Editor "WindHex32.exe"
it is under the texts that I asked to translate

Well, considering Hugue his last name, I don't want to argue whether to spell it as "de Payns" or "de Payens", since you are French, after all. Smile
But for "Rumy" I would suggest spelling her name as "Lurmy". At least if we consider the spelling in the first XZR game as canon.
And I am pretty sure that "Mire" should probably be translated as "Mireille".

About the brothers that killed the only person who knew how to reactivate the Holimax (Hiram Abif/Abiff), their names are either:
Jubela, Jubelo, and Jubelum or
Jabel, Jubal, and Tubal:

A remark about the graphics, I think some of them in your video cannot be right. I think some colours of the ground are rendered black where they should not be.
I think in particular, the cave where Prince Rama is laying wounded and the hills in Greece had more (green) colour to them. You can see the colour change in your video when your party enters Mani's cave.

Apart from these things, I would like to help you improve the English grammar in general.
