Run Brisk (MCCM) from CF/SD card (Nextor)

hi all,

Did someone find a way to run Brisk from CF card (hard disk/SD card, whatever), under Nextor?

When I directly run BRISK000 I get a message about Not enough memory. When running it from floppy it goes to BASIC first and checks whether CTRL was pressed at boot. Perhaps that is somehow needed? But I don't want to press CTRL for running this DOS game, as I have already booted earlier and don't want to reboot for the game and find it back on the CF card.

I thought that ONEDRIVE.COM would help, but it is not useful for MSX-DOS2, it says... so I guess that's not a solution...

This works when I run it on the SX-1 FPGA:
ep BRISK(~. 1.DSK /B /R
I don't know if this might be useful for you. It needs to reboot, anyway.

As I said, onedrive.com tells me it isn't useful for MSX-DOS2... map.com I run by default for such games.
I could REM the CTRL check, but AFAIk that's all the basic program is doing, that's why I'm directly trying the COM file.

@mcolom: what does that do?

It's one of the programs that came with OCM by K. Tsujikawa (see here http://msxbanzai.tni.nl/computers/ese3.zip), and if understood correctly, it changes the table of the MEGA-SCSI (which is implemented in the FPGA to read to SD card) to add a new drive. That's all I know.
I guess after rebooting the disk drive is disconnected, and it only uses the MEGA-SCSI and that's why the game doesn't complain about not having enough memory. But I'm speculating here, and I don't know if it might be useful with your hardware.

Thanks to Victor Martinez I can run it for now in this way: use SofaRunIt with a disk image, letting it press CTRL, use Z80 mode and have a writable disk image. Victor tweaked the image a bit so that autoexec.bat directly runs BRISK000.COM.
(At least, as far as I understand, that's all there was to it.)
