Pumpkin Adventure 2 - Where to go next?

As an addendum, I've tried going back to the door at the top of the Tower of Tipharoth as well -- the door that supposedly only Sepertron can open -- but no luck there either. I also tried contacting Sepertron both at his house (no response, as usual) and via telephone (it says he's not home), so no help there. And I've tried showing the book and just in general talking to the professor back in Village Hatzel, too, but no luck.

Oh, and I found DSK copies of Pumpkin Adventure II on the internet, so I wrote a new copy of disk 4 to a blank floppy in case the reason I couldn't enter those two staircases in Netzach F-3 was because of faulty data that had at some point been corrected. But no, even using the written disk 4, those two staircases are impassable.

I'm guessing I need to use the dynamite somewhere, maybe? Or there's a door I missed, though I wouldn't know where -- I've been all over Netzach, and I haven't missed a thing as far as I can tell.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. This is driving me crazy, as I really, really want to finish this game! I don't want to have sunk this much time into an RPG only to leave it unfinished because I have no idea where to go next. Enough people have played Pumpkin Adventure over the years that somebody's gotta know the solution here! If anyone can help, even a little, please let me know.

I'm well past that point. I already found it, used it at the beach, got the do-it-yourself pier, and used it to cross the gap in the dungeon.

If the walkthrough in question is the one from MSX Computer and Club Magazine 71, I'm well past everything covered therein. For some reason, the walkthrough stops long before the end of the dungeon.

I do know where to find Pumpkin Adventure 2 game DSKs online as well (and have tested everything described in this topic on those DSK images as well, in addition to my physical game disks, just in case the problem arose from bad sectors or something), but I won't post the link or anything without explicit approval from the mods/admins since I know that's against the rules. I'm counting on people who already own the game to try loading from my user disk.

The latest save file is the one with the highest level -- save slot number 1, level 39. For those who haven't played Pumpkin Adventure 2 before, Enter or button 2 uses whatever item you have equipped, and space bar or button 1 opens and closes the item menu so you can change which item you have equipped (and also see your stats and such). And beyond that... there's not really a lot to know. It's a pretty straightforward game, at least in terms of basic gameplay. (The puzzles do get pretty complex, though!)

The item that's equipped when you load my save is the "teleport crosier," which you can use to warp to other parts of the game. If you want to explore the entirety of the final dungeon for anything that I've missed, "Netzach (1)" will take you to its entrance. Any of the four Netzach locations on the list, as well as Time Machine, Dungeon (1), and Dungeon (2) are all part of the final dungeon, though, so you can warp around quite a bit if you don't feel like exploring it all on foot.

If you see a pentagram on the ground, open the item menu and equip the gem that matches its color, then stand on top of it and press Enter or button 2 to warp to another pentagram of the same color somewhere else.

Also, if you use the teleport crosier to warp to Dungeon (2), it'll seem to be a dead-end area, but if you go all the way to the right, there's one specific spot in which you can walk through the wall to the north -- that's how you get to the native village. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any way I can enter it, as Steve just constantly says "Let's get out of here!" and leaves.

Oh, also, if you press F5, you can change who's in the lead. This feature isn't used much, but I do know that only Damien can use the bucket to sail through lava, and only Steve can use the lifeboat to sail through water. (Thus far, The Bishop hasn't ever been required to take the lead.) Neither of these comes up in the final dungeon, though -- at least, not yet.

A couple other things I can note, too: if you encounter two guards who won't let you pass, you can equip the invisibility potion (the tiny red potion on the bottom row of the item list) and try to pass them, and you'll be able to. Just past them, though, there's a teleport trap, so after the two guards, you'll want to equip the scepter (top row, just to the right of the floppy disk) so you can get past it without being teleported to a completely different dungeon.

Also, if you encounter a radioactive blue glow and Steve says you shouldn't enter, you can equip the space suit (top right of the item list) to get inside.

I think that's it!

The things that are needed to progress include:
- Finding another key somewhere, or
- Opening a door or going through a wall that I haven't opened or been through before (this will be obvious if it happens), or
- Finding the sixth boss

OMG, thank you so much! Even though the text there is in Dutch, I could just type it into Google Translate until I found what I needed to know -- and indeed, I found exactly what I needed to know. Seems I missed a radioactive area, somehow, where there's a treasure chest containing a pair of shoes that I can use to get past the pitfall trap. I was positive I'd searched Netzach F-5 thoroughly, but apparently not thoroughly enough! So now I know where I need to go and what I need to find.

I'll let you guys know if I'm successful!

Ehh, too late.

Either way, it worked! Thank you again for pointing me to this magazine. This was, as expected, my own damn fault for missing a whole wing of the dungeon floor somehow. I've now successfully gotten the shoes, killed the sixth boss, and unlocked the Maze of Hod. So I'm back on track! (Though the game does require grinding all the way to level 55, and I'm only at level 39, which is a bit of a pain in the ass!)
