Hi,

From time to time I search for WiOS over the internet, but I never found anything more than the Manual.

Does anyone has WiOS installed ?
Does anyone has the installer ?

The WayBackMachine deserves a big thank ya for many reasons, especially for this.
I know from various sources that the author of WiOS is visiting this forum from time to time. :)

WiOS followed a different attempt then SymbOS, but of courseyou are right, it is history.

It was really to slow to be useful, even on turbo r. API wise it was solid, but besides the file manager and a clock made by Eric Maas there where no applications for it. Also it used cooperative multitasking and not preemptive multitasking ( little bit like win 3.11 versus win 95. I do still have the programmers guide for it .
