Bounder cheat mode

Hi everyone, has anyone ever got Bounder cheat mode to work? Ive tried 2 different ones but no joy, ive tried the poke 34000,12: ' thanks BiFi! also tried type Poke 40000,ASC("b) and repeat with all the letters to bouncy and on both cheats loaded game and waited until words all scroll by, but ive had no joy, am i doing something wrong? Many thanks

Try in blueMSX with its trainer:

!cheats for blueMSX :bounder

0,2415,101,0,lives
0,2421,99,0,jumps

Ive done exactly what it says on the video several times but no joy, i dont know what im doing wrong

Are you trying to load from original cassette or CAS files?
I'm trying CAS files at the moment on my Toshiba HX-10 And one CAS file doesn't work with POKE 34000,12 and one does.
I used the TOSEC file "Bounder (1987)(Gremlin Graphics Software)(GB)[Bload'CAS-',R].CAS" and it worked.
The one "Bounder (1987)(Gremlin Graphics Software)(GB)[a][Bload'CAS-',R].CAS" does not.

Hi CASDuino, I'm not quite sure what a TOSEC file is, i'm trying a original cassette but it doesnt work

Ah. Sorry. I'm using CAS files and a CASDuino to load my games. Is your version from a compilation?

TOSEC are a collection of files in various formats with most CAS, DSK, and ROM files. Very handy.
I would link you to the cas file I'm using but I believe it's against forum rules.
