Hi,

Recently my Gran passed away. She had a Toshiba HX-10 with the MU901 keyboard, and a bunch of tapes. I'm in the process of testing everything out as I don't really have the space for it all (I'm more looking for anything she, I or my cousins may have saved than anything else), but will be digitizing the cassette collection. I was wondering if there's any MSX equivalent of worldofspectrum.org where I can submit the resulting .CAS files?

I'm confident that most of the games will already have been digitized before, but I did notice a few issues of MSX Tape Computing (as I've tried looking for this before and failed).

Cheers,
Steve

I own all the MSX Tape Computing issue but 50% of them are unreadable in some points, so a dump from you is appreciated or *needed* to preserve that software.
Since I'm ready to celebrate my personal 30th anniversary with the MSX, I would release on internet all my dumps, so this could be the chance to complete the M.T.C. serie!
Fell free to ask anything about dumping techniques!
Or more simply... Make a wave 44KHz 16bit of that tapes and let us make the work for you! Nishi

Ok,

I've tried one of the tapes, but my wav2cas-fu is not strong. I've uploaded the files. Unfortunately I did the first side before reading your post at 22050hz. Hope that's ok. Can you try that and let me know, then I'll get the rest done.

If you have no joy with WAV2CAS there is always Sofacas otherwise just do as you did and upload the wav files and someone will convert them for you.

You would use sofacas rec -iside1.wav Side1.cas to convert.
