ok maybe it is the right thing for this board.
and now I feel the urge to stress that all the "14400 is better than 9600" was solely about the board. while for replay on PC, 9600hz is better.
Of course it's about this board. It's a thread about this board. Why would I be talking about best sample rates for something else?
Updated info:
I - hopefully - reworked CasLink2 ver 2.1 in ver 2.2: now it has (thank You hit9918) 9600Hz, with 12kHz and 44.1kHz and some other funny settings.
You can see a demo video here .
Awesome work :-)
Great. I like casette loading
It's been a while but I've started a blog on how to make the ArduiTape Mark II. I will also be uploading the software needed for it too.
The blog can be found here.
There will hopefully be a new design coming soon with a hardware change that will not only make the build easier and cheaper but should be able to allow the use of built in cas2wav software to do the conversion and at a higher sample quality and playback.
The blog has been updated with a new version of cas tools that should now convert and work every game properly. All issues were fixed by adding a couple of seconds of silence at the end of each wav. Now working on a version of cas2wav that includes the option of 3600 baud which also works on the Arduitape with all games and reduces loading times and file size.
Added the option of 3600 baud output to cas2wav.exe as well as the extra seconds of silence that helps with some games.
@ Buleste : good news !
Since I have a STM32F4 Discovery Board I'm interersted in the port, eventually I can help too!

Strangely, from Belgium, no any problem! (and I'm not registered on Facebook)
Btw, specific censorship from Facebook for Belgian non-members (or non-registered visitors) has already been bypassed:
