If I browse through e-bay I can't help but laugh really hard at those rediculous prices asked for MSX1 computers... Not just MSX1 but ugly as hell as well... You pay a crapload of $$$ for an ugly piece of plastic with a computer in it which can not run most MSX software which is (still) worth running...
I am happy with the guys like Daniel who import really nice later MSX models to Europe, fix them up to near mint condition, replace parts which might fail, upgrade them, change the transformator, test everything and sell it for a price which is still normal.
I pity the people who don't know you can buy MSX computers for a nice price while browsing msx.org
