My guess is that the buyer is a huge Metal Gear fan and the game that started it all in its sealed unopened glory will be his collection's centerpiece. Or so I can imagine.

You're all overlooking the fact that this Metal Gear version is a very, very rare 2-region copy - "Japan UK", according to the listing title /s
