This title also called "Heli" is included in the Philips Turbo Pack B and C.

I'm curious to find out who programmed it. It seems to me a pretty complete simulator for being made in Basic.
I think it might have been programmed by a beginner Steve Course, creator of Norh Sea Helicopter and Chopper II. Reddings operatie is quite similar to these, and the texts of the game are in dutch. Another thing that makes me think it could be a Steve Course game is that in the compilation of Turbo Pack games, there are several that belong to The Bytebusters.

Many of the games that came on the Philips Turbo Pack tapes were from magazines. If we knew which magazine this game was in, we would most likely know the name of the programmer.

Can anyone provide any interesting information?

I don't have time to have a look at the game you mention, but it reminds me of the winning game in the MSX Mozaik programming contest in 1986. Please have a look at that.

Lately, I have collected all listings and publications from MSX Mozaik. They can be found at tfh's download site in the BASIC lisings section.

Yes!! thank you Briqunullus, that's the game! Big smile

In issue 3-4 of MSX Mozaik 1986 a programming competition was organised, and the results were published in issue 5.
The winner was Harry Kappert for his game Reddings Operatie.

Like you said me, I found the game in the Basic listing section inside the folder "prog86".

Were the games inside the "prog86" folder published in the magazine for type or you have an original tape which accompanied the mozaik magazine??

Thank you very much Wink

Ooppps, I just list the code of the game, and the name of the guy it's Hans Kappert, and not Harry Kappert as published in Mozaik magazine.

The game in Turbo Pack's tape, these first "REM lines" with the name of the autor (village and phone number) were deleted.... Sad

Thank to Manuel I did have copies of some tapes (unsorted on one disk), but the programming contest was not on there. I have found it on the MCCM Millenium CD's. It was on a public domain disk, I don't remember which one. I just used grep and searched for 'redding' or maybe 'kappert'.
