Does it run the USB keyboard in full HID mode, BOOT mode, or PS/2 adapter mode? Does it support more than one of those?

And what USB keyboard layouts are supported? Could it allow different MSX layouts to be supported?

Also, any idea how difficult it might be to adapt it to other MSX models that have external keyboards where PPI lines are exposed via the connectors? Any idea how difficult it might be to adapt to replace an internal keyboard?

How much power can the USB keyboard safely draw? Can this work somehow with Logitech MX Keys wireless keyboards using their 2.4 GHz "Unifying Receiver"?

And is there any chance it could work with a Bluetooth adapter someday?

And finally, do you plan to commercialize this in some way?

Many MSX'es with dead or dying keyboards could potentially be revived, this is quite interesting!

partial HID mode (is a limitation of the framework, coming soon fix)

currently only one (international), as many as you want.

to adapt it internally is easy, I am going to try it on my TR.
other MSX like SONY FB depends on whether you can find the connector

Unifying Receiver should work, but I haven't tried.
consumption must be very low. don't use keyboard rgb

in the very distant future

yes, I'm looking at the cost estimate

Nice, and thanks for the replies!

Another question, can the keyboard be connected with an (externally powered) USB hub in between?

it only works if you connect keyboards directly

Please let us know if you decide to make some and sell them! I would buy three provided the price isn't too extreme, especially if it maps the keys needed for use in Gradiente Expert (Brazilian layout), Sony HB-F1XD and National CF-3000 (Japanese layouts.) i already have the needed connectors to build adapters for the Expert and CF-3000 keyboard ports, and the Sony would be an internal installation.

ok, add PAUSE and RESET keys. key mapping occurs not from symbols but from HID functions, for example
the "A" key of the QWERTY keyboad is actually key 4 of the HID table, as you can see from the image.

an ALPHA version which should convert the keyboard layout, but is too slow.

to see the schematics of the HB-F1XD, the adapter should work,
I don't know if it works on National as I don't have any CF-3000 keyboard ports documentation

BETA 4
add RESET and PAUSA key simulator
RESET = on the USB keyboard, simultaneously use left control + left alt + right altagr + right control
PAUSA = USB Keyboard key Pausa
