Well, I don't mind at all 
I also prefer to play a lot of MSX1 games with MSX2 settings due to the more saturated colors. Anyway... looking forward to the release of your game.

Just for curiosity, did you port the game from scratch or is in some way an almost direct port from original code? I ask this because the next question is direct: should be possible more Spectrum ports like this?
Spectrum has a big catalogue, it should be really nice! Congrats for your work BTW
Of course, this is almost a direct port. A lot of people already ask me, what about DIZZY on MSX? 
Dizzy's saga are nice games indeed. If your engine uses hardware+software sprites you can get really colourful gameplay, could be cool to see such enhancements in a direct ZX port to MSX
