Disk read disables interrupts?

I opened the disk ROM and found is plenty of #F3 (DI), so I suppose that indeed it disables interrupts, but prefer to ask to be sure.

OK for FDD I suppose that's the case. But what about IDE/SCSI ones? For HDD and flash memory devices.

I think it's same but flash cards are very faster so there is much less jerky when we play a music during a loading.
