It's our design (RBSC), but the board on the picture is a bit older revision. I assembled at least 10 of those boards - all worked perfectly. The last one was assembled and tested last week. In our repository there are sources for the latest board:

Perfect, thank you very much for the info, my idea is to put it in a VG-8235, to give FM, sorry the question, who would come to do f4?

You don't need F4 port unless you are upgrading to MSX2+. Without F4 port components the board should be even cheaper.

One of the problems that you will have to face is the slot assignment for the FMPAC BIOS. In Yamaha YIS503 and CX5M2 computers there's an empty slot (usually 3.1) that can be used for hosting the BIOS. In those Philips computers there's nothing like that, AFAIK. So you will need to sacrifice one of the main slots in order to have a working BIOS.

I didn't do such modification myself, but I heard that someone did. Maybe he could share his experience here.

Slot 3-1 is unused in the VG8235 as well, see the service manual, the slot select signal should be available on the MSX-Engine… Also I reckon with more effort the FM BIOS could also be placed in slot 3-0 above the SUBROM.

you dont need a f4 in a msx2+ ad all. but build in fmpac is nice.
