We have added an option to use the cartridge as MegaRAM. The special utility can load ROM file into cartridge's own RAM and the data stays there until power-off. If the cartridge has a battery installed, the data will be preserved as long as the battery is good. The utility allows to set the protection onto the copied data so that the copied ROM could not write into its own address space corrupting the data (some copy protections work like that). However there's an option to disable the protection if necessary. For the saved ROM image the special directory entry is created with the "RAM: " prefix. Here's the video of the MegaRAM option test (sorry for the shaky camera):

Unfortunately not all ROMs can be loaded into the cartridge's RAM. For example most of ROMs up to 256kb work, however Metal Gear 2 ROM doesn't. We will look into this later.
MG2 works, but needs some tweaks to be run from RAM. No big deal.
There is already a version of MG2 adapted to run on MegaRAM, search for it. I don't have now the URL, but there is also a repository with many XPS files that fixes (or enhances) many ROMs.
I guess Execrom is the bestest tool to load games in MegaRAM. Would be nice if your MegaRAM implementation follows the pattern created by Ademir Carchano (and already very popular in Brazil). The same pattern is used by SD-Mapper and SD512 cartridges.
Very good news !!!!

Our MegaRAM option is only similar to the original one. But requires our own tools to load files. This option will allow to save FlashROM write cycles.
A litle question. Why the value of C29, is 22-47uF in the partslist?
The C2MAN and C2MAN_40 utilities as well as C2RAMLDR have been updated. The readme has been updated as well.
As for C29 - you can select any capacitor from 22uF to 47uF for that part. But not below or above.
Hi Alexey, is there any news of carnivore2 ?, I am very interested in the device.
thank you very much.

There is no news yet. The manufacturer is assembling the test batch. That's all I know.
I started to create and upload RCP (Register Configuration Preset) files for Carnivore and Carnivore2 cartridges. These files allow to fix the non-working configuration presets for certain ROMs. The RCP files can be loaded with c2man or cman utilities for any selected ROM entry. See the readme.txt for more info. I will upload more RCP files if I identify more ROMs that don't work with default configuration.
