MSX Solutions - Goonies 'R' Good Enough

MSX Solutions, the shrine of MSX gamehints, tricks and maps, published a map of Kralizec's platformer which was based on the motion picture. Until recently, this cartridge could be bought at Sunrise. But, like Manbow 2, it's now completely sold out.

That map is not complete. It seems it has been made hacking the ROM and using a illegal dump.

It's really missing something or you're just being ironic due to the recent "issues" with ROM dumping?
BTW, why they used an external PSG? They're using two PSGs (internal & external) plus SCC or only external PSG+SCC? The external psg is the exact same chip that's inside MSX or a different model? Rgds.

IIRC internal (MSX) PSG = SFX, External (Cart) PSG = Music.

ppl who saw the game running on emulators said that PSG is not used at all (as seen at the blueMSX sound mixer tool).

There's no PSG or SCC in that cartidge: Just FPGA implementation from the open-source OCM.
But hey, DON'T you dare to play our game in your FPGA board! Get yourself an aging MSX instead and play the way WE want you to play, even if we took what we needed from the open-source comunity and we're getting money by using it as part of our protection scheme.

in-cart PSG-on-FPGA is nothing to whine about, and is very acceptable to me, knowing how composers and many MSX users dislike the volume balancing differences per MSX.

So... every single post related to this excellent game will result on the same comments? I mean, this is a great game and, instead of talking about the game, the same nonsense stuff arises again? It is very sad, especially because Kralizec decided to leave to avoid this nonsense and people who started everything, instead of apologizing, keep kicking and somehow insulting... that's coward.

Then, there is no point in closing topics. Some people will spread their nonsense wherever they can.
Definitely, I perfectly understand Kralizec when they said that they don't belong to this community. I love MSX, but not certain ideas and individuals here. Sorry to say that.

I can confirm the cracked ROM DUMP has SCC+PSG sound on the Altera DE1 MSX
And what a game it is! You guys at Kralizek are crazy for not selling this one in digital form.
