Maggoo, right on dude! Feedback is way underestimated too, but a fantastic game. For MSX Standards it's even AWESOME Smile

Those are great games, but I think the most underrated game ever is the game ZORAX.
Zorax has an original storyline, great music, disturbing difficult and an amazing parallax scroll!
Besides, it has 8 different levels with new enemies in each level!
It is a shame the authors had never ever released ZORAX 2 to the public.

Some underrated games that are also not very well known (but please take a look at them, if you can!)

- Traffic (by Sony): you are a traffic controller that has to make sure that the part of London that you are responsible for will not get fully crowded with cars. You control the traffic lights at all junctions! And do take care that the ambulance (the sound even has a doppler-effect!) gets through in time!
- Super Pierrot: very original music and a mix between pacman, Sex Bomb Bunny (which is a cover itself) and some other games that I forgot the name of! Very good looking graphics, too.
- Mr. Ghost: Very nice looking game with very good PSG music. Fast, too!
- Rock 'n Bolt: in my opinion an extremely original game concept: you can walk on moving platforms (in a colourful isometric 3D view) and you have to screw the bolts in the platforms to fix them at the right positions. But once they're tightened, you can't easily use them as transprotation device anymore! Later levels are multiple screens big. You really want to try this! Smile

Maybe I'll think of more later!

* Ninja 2 (?) - The MSX 2-version. Great PSG-music, various weapons to be used, unusual gameplay like being able to climb walls, make salto's, crouching etc.
I second that, the game is called Super Ninja 2 btw.

* Green Beret
This game is being underrated all the time, just because it's not the high-quality one might expect from a Konami game. In reality, it's a very decent game (and a decent port from the original arcade game). For a MSX1 game it's colorful, especially compared to other games from england.

* Illusion City
I cannot understand why, but this game somehow never really got the recognition it deserves... It is a very good game! I guess it's 'cause it was never translated but the graphics, animations, music, plot... all superb!

* Herzog
One of my all-time fave's... Too bad the game is so darn short. Would've been great to have like a boat-load of missions to choose from.

* Greatest Driver
I really liked this game a lot. Dunno why tho, maybe it's just me. It's still pretty good tho, the music too.

* Testament
Prolly not really that good, but I do remember it being one of the first real MSX games I played (real as in not crap).

* Seed of Dragon
This game is really strange, very un-MSX like to my taste, but not all bad. Ofcourse it doesn't use half of the Turbo-R's capacity, but it's still not all that bad. If I were a better gamer I would've probably played the whole game... But ofcourse I suck at games...

* Starship Rendezvous
Well, the game's not very good... But with music like that, who the hell needs a game! Best darn game music ever! (Gotta love those drums)

Well, let's forget Nemesis 2 for a while and think of other nice games... :-P

* Undeadline

Anyone finished it without cheating? I did, when I was younger. At first it seems easy, but it is actually DAMN difficult to finish it. Besides playability is very nice.

* Retaliator

Very ugly graphics. But very very nice musics. Pity that it is so short.

* Kyokugen

Still I can't believe that it is an amateur game. Me (Konamiman, the Nemesis-eater) had a very hard time to finish it... sometimes the difficulty is simply paranoic, I love it!

* Mister Ghost

This game has, above all, atmosphere. Special mention to the musics: can someone tell a game which has more atmospheric PSG tunes?

* Psycho World

I think it is the kind of game that you either love or hate at first sight. Well, I loved it and of course I finished it (again, when I was younger). It has a lot of small tricks that you need to discover to advance, and this makes it a very interisting game.

* Hyper Somen

The Konami game of eating noodles (not rice!) withour letting them to fall on the floor. My wife is playing it right now. I can't understand how a so stupid game can be so damn funny! X-D

And that's all for now... hey, it is true, there is life beyond Nemesis!

Payload: a game where you're a truck driver going through Japan delivering goods between towns/cities.

It's funny how some of the games listed are actually quite popular...

Undeadline was certainly not underrated, being awarded with the best game the year! (rightfully so, I might add)

* Greatest Driver 2D Special (published on one of the T&E disk mags)
Great game in multiplayer mode (3 players at the same time!), not that appealing in single player mode though.

* Ryukyu
Very addictive mixture of Yathzee and Solitaire. At first it doesn't look much fun, but once you completed a few levels and know what to do, it's hard to stop.

* Ankanbe Dragon
Actually I don't think this game is really underrated, but anyway it's a very nice strategic action game.

* SD Gundam
Very nice strategic game, almost like playing Advance Wars on the gba.

I used to play Pinball by T&E a lot - in fact I found it very addictive!

Finder Keepers by Mastertronic was an excellent game, it didnt seem to get much of a mention outside the UK
