Yab-Yum is an original concept, but it has some nasty issues. The worst ones are that you can be locked and also that your enemies can respawn at exactly the same position the player is. I still think it´s fun to play, though. I also keep a little nostalgic when me, my brother and some cousins were playing Yab Yum during a Xmas party in front of our families... Good childhood times.
Actually Yab Yum is such an original game that it keeps the attention of anyone to whom I show it even today. It deserves a remake.

It has one, in 3D for PC, but i'm not proud of it Well, proud and ashamed at 50%...
3D? I guess that a 2D remake with gross cartoonish images would capture more the feel of the original game.

my friend klonks made a remake for the pc in the early 1990s, but it mixed the gameplay of yabyum with eggerland mistery (you had to get all the women in the screen, there was boxes to push, keys and doors and other kind of enemies like eggerland's medusa). and there was also a bonus stage with the gameplay of HAPPY HOUR
but he got tired and made just 10 stages or something like that.
here as some screenshots taken in dosbox, i didn't had the patience to play to the later levels wich contain new enemies:
first stage with player on the left
player shooting down
player pushing a box
playing receiving a BALLCAT
player breaking some breakable boxes with his shot
player was killed by the guillotines
the shot would paint the walls like this
enemy got a woman like in the original one. in this case a new woman will respaw in the maze.
player got a woman in the CLASSICAL yabyum position
player banging a blonde woman
SUPREME
OMG I wanna play it !!!!!
Like almost 10 years ago, I made an Eggerland clone in MSX-BASIC which (I swear) ran fast enough (even with option to build your own puzzles) about a naked, bald guy with a really big dick, in a 'world' with scissors and cameras where it was forbidden to walk naked.
So you'd have to push blocks to jam the sight of the cameras to prevent from being 'arrested' (like the medusa's in Eggerland) and collect and throw stones at the scissors to prevent them from. . . well, you can think it for yourself, can't you?
I even made some swinging FM-PAC jazz music for it and stuff, but, I had made NO back-up and the disk broke down, containing ALL code, GFX and music.
I am not joking, I actually made that. Maybe, I'd make it totally again in NestorBASIC one day and it would run even faster so I could add more enemies etc.
Talking about XXX MSX games: was Porno Man ever recovered? I vaguely remember people was looking for it a few years ago and no copy was found back in the day...
That was a fun game to play.
I wonder if anyone remembers "Sexy Nelly".
It was a German MSX1 program, 100% made and animated with ASCII characters.
It showed a black haired girl stripping, pleasing herself until certain fluids would run from [self-censored for the children].
It had a quite nasty touch, actually; IIRC it would ask if you're 18 or older, and needed the password "SEXY".
If you'd answer wrong and your disk was not write-protected, it would just delete/KILL *.* your whole disk.
I must have it on a 3.25" somewhere, but haven't seen it running for at least 15 years.
the best in this category was guardian strip dobeleen 2.
there was this monocrhome screen with a woman in black and blue, you pressed space and the game randomized a number from 1 to 6 for you and for the woman. if your number were greater then hers, the woman would strip, else she would put the clothes back on. excelent gameplay.

Damn! I remember that game! At least, I remember the music. If you need graphics for that remake...

Great, a strategy game

Yeh but then, before i was back to MSX world, experimental stuff was that... and 3D was easy cause then engine was already made...
