timbr: I have added generation MSX ids to my romdatabase (should be compatible with bluemsx)
Maybe you could use those for game specific things.
Why do these important keywords have to be kept such a secret... Google doesn't find any hits on "hotkey_cas_rewind"? Maybe it's because everybody is using the Windows version which has a lot more GUI goodies for setting everything up.
They are not secret but documentation is missing because of other priorities. Google probably did not find the hotkey name because I made them up myself. And yes, I added this stuff to be able to use as much as possible from the BlueMSX emulation core without having the complete GUI.
I'm glad to hear people manage to do things that I haven't tried yet because of it.
And as I said, be patient, documentation will be there some day.
Thanks for your work, and Dvik's too of course. BlueMSX Wii is the best MSX/SVI/Coleco emulator so far. The output looks and sounds so close to the real thing that it's virtually impossible to tell them apart.
I see that a guide has been added to the Wii MSX website.

Following the guide, I tried to add game definitions for ColecoVision's Jumpman Jr, but with not so great success. How exactly should I specify the USB keyboard's keys?
This works:
<KeyMap minus1="coleco1-5"/>
This does not work:
<KeyMap 5="coleco1-5"/>
This does not work either:
<KeyMap "5"="coleco1-5"/>
How should the number 5 be entered?
I got a working set by using the function keys f1, f2, etc. for the Coleco numbers.
It should be:
<KeyMap 5="coleco1-5"/>
But you already said this does not work. Then I'm afraid it is a bug. I'll make an issue for it, thanks for finding it.
Is it possible to use two wii-motes? can't seem to register a second wii-mote for 2-player F1-spirit mayhem ;-)
I haven't tested that yet either

It should work. By default the 2nd wiimote is mapped as joystick 2. Try connecting the 2nd wiimote before starting bluemsx-wii.
I've been playing SD Snatcher a lot today, I got to the Zone1 (gaming hall) and it's damn hard to hit those snatcher heads without an actuall keyboard... but at least I had a score of 1200 to get the L-Disk tomorrow I'll go for 1300 for the Mars-Coupon and 1400 for the 3d goggles.. I hope I can do it.
Great emu with a few unexplainable minor hick-ups (which don't hinder game play at all)
