Wasn't Ryjuzo working on a GFX9000 project Question

yes...
first we're completing development on Raziël's Revenge...
and then we'll focus entirely on developing games for the gfx9000..cauzz we think it deserves more games

the games we're gonna make are going to be arcade-ports...(for this I adapted the MAME source-code myself so I can easily feed the gfx/maps to my gfx-utils so building the games will be very fast and easy)

.. but we'll take it one game at a time....(any favorites btw??)

so dont go be throwing your GFX9K away or you'll be very sorry...

you should talk to Leo...Tongue

I hope with our arcade-game-conversions we can help convince other developers to do the same when they see what is possible...

and hope many more coders will follow us...

Well it is your opinion, one is one, it is but that anything, you begins with something. The GFX9000 is not a PS3, and he doesn't have big development companies for games, but a enthusiastic people that makes an effort to make something good with the few tools that they prepare.
I don't believe that the GFX9000 is an useless piece, only for developers, your same one can program it and to make your own games and applications. If we all thought this way, people like Padial, Sunrize and others would stop to manufacture their useless pieces.

I was only referring to the GFX9000
it has been around for quite some time now but there still are almost no programs for it (except some developerstuff)

Other "new" hardware is way more usefull to way more people
thats all

It is true that the new hardware is more usefull for people in general.
But the GFX9000 is a hardware execpcional, you can always program it with the G-basic, in the same way that you program your MSX with the MSX Basic.
I remember the PS2 with the Yabasic and I would like the PS3 to have a Yabasic to program it as the PS2+YAbasic.
