When I turn on my PC, open MSX works, but if I reset OpenMSX, I close OpenMSX, whatever, it doesn't work anymore.
In Catapult when I click on Start and then Stop, it crashes, when I try to open the catapult again it just opens the window below, but nothing happens, not even clicking on the window (photo)
if I click on Open, only a black screen appears and nothing happens (photo)
But when I reset the PC, it works again (only once)

Hi! What version of openMSX are you using? Could you try downloading the 17.0 RC1 from https://openmsx.dev/ and see if that is any better?

Now openMSX opens Smile
But Catapult continues to open only once.
If you open Catapult 1x, then no longer open, nor does OpenMSX work after using Catapult

Your Catapult is also version 17.0-rc1?

THis is a very strange problem that I haven't heard about before... so it may take some time to find out what's going on... we need YOU for that, though!

How did you install openMSX? With the msi installer?

So, you say that openMSX works fine, as long as you run it without Catapult?

And once you run Catapult, openMSX and Catapult get both broken?
You can't even run openMSX without Catapult anymore?

Can you try to run them from the command prompt?

Is there something about it in your Windows Event Log?

How did you install openMSX? With the msi installer?
Yes, MSI

So, you say that openMSX works fine, as long as you run it without Catapult?
yes.
the first time I open the catapult it works normal, but if I close it, it won't open anymore, and then neither does OpenMSX.
But if I use the catapult a lot, it also crashes after a while.

And once you run Catapult, openMSX and Catapult get both broken?
yes

You can't even run openMSX without Catapult anymore?
yes

Can you try to run them from the command prompt?
the same thing

Is there something about it in your Windows Event Log?
yes:

When you run it from command prompt, do you see any output printed?

Do you have an antivirus software running? If yes, can you please try to disable it and then try again?

I notice 'Wow64Host', does that mean you're running the 32 bit version?
Try running the x64 build, non-msi (17.0-RC1). Use OPENMSX_HOME so you can test without it interfering with your main openMSX installation. (Note that Catapult's registry settings are still shared.)

1. extract zip to an appropriate location;
2. open cmd prompt
3. set OPENMSX_HOME=FULL_PATH_TO_CUSTOM_USER_DIR (e.g. _user subdir where you extracted zip)
4. run openmsx.exe or catapult.exe from this cmd prompt

And: Restarting your PC? Isn't is sufficient to kill openmsx.exe and/or catapult.exe using the task manager?
