I once bought a turbor that was broken for a price that would amaze you nowadays. Never regretted my choice of obtaining the computer and will never sell it. Do not sell it. You WILL regret it. Next month some stuff will come out on msx that will make you pick up your turbor again I promise.

I'm thinking of selling my Panasonic Turbo R GT MSX computer.

The reason I'm thinking of selling? I rarely use it. It seems a shame to see a beautiful machine sitting and gathering dust.
I've been a serious collector of vintage games consoles and computer hardware for about 18 - 20 years so my collection (in my wife's words) has "become excessive".

I'll recomend to you just the opossite of most of the people: sell it, really. Life priority changes, if you are asking yourself for selling it it's because in your mind you feel that you are not going to use it anymore. I've passed the same situation, I had a good collection of MSX machines but during 2 years I realized that the only MSX I used was my Zemmix Neo. I decided to sell all my computers (MSX Turbo R, MSX2+, MSX2, MSX...). 1 year has passed since I sold my last MSX and I don't miss any of them. I continue doing the same than before, using my Zemmix Neo every day but now I have more space and more money in my pocket.

It's my suggestion Smile

I sold my TurboR GT over 12 years ago, someone got a bargain. I couldn't live without MSX, so bought a used MSX2, then a 2+, now I have a MSXVR, a lovely machine that keeps getting updated. I regretted selling it at the time, but life was such that I needed too

Just sell it. I understand the sentiment but this machine should be owned by someone who actually enjoys using it regularly and not be sitting unused in an attic collecting dust and potentially breaking down over time.

I sold mine a few years ago and it was a tough decision at that moment but I don't regret it. I loved my MSX years but selling a machine will not change that. All the fond memories will remain.
