I'll try to implement the in-out drag & drop next so it could be possible to quickly take files in and out the images.

Hi robodrunk.
Recently I'm working on my collection of disk images.
This tool is growing and getting better.
If I can, I'd like to make some features request if you can add them to your tool.
- create 360k images too
- command line option to extract files from dsk image to a folder
- command line to add files from a folder to dsk image
- command line to create a dsk image (360/720)
- choose from msxdos1 boot or msxdos2 boot

I ask this because Im' tryng to convert some dsk images that i have in 720 to 360 if them fit.
In this way I could create a Batch file to do all this.

Please forgive my bad english.
thanks.

Hey Gig71,

I will add those command line options, it shouldn't be too hard.
As for msxdos1/msxdos2 boot sectors - I might need those provided as examples.

Working with 360k images will need some research, though as I'll need to support HFE of this size as well.

Thank you!

PS. Your English is not bad at all Wink

HFE is a disk image format used by some floppy emulators.
It is a low-level encoding for disk data, down to MFM etc.

I replaced my MSX's floppy with one of those.
Actually the whole point of writing this disk image tool was to handle disk images in a more convenient way and I wanted a direct support of a HFE file without extra conversions.
Those emulators have a pretty special software manager. It works well, but usability is ... well, it works Wink

If your interested in feature requests, there is also the https://www.msx.org/wiki/Spectravideo_SVI-707
With its unusual 320kB capacity and CP/M support.
Also see,
https://www.msx.org/forum/msx-talk/general-discussion/svi-70...
https://www.msx.org/forum/msx-talk/openmsx/svi-707-problems

The CP/M support would require being able to also handle IMD and DMK file types.
