Natsuki Chronicles the horizontal shmup was released for XBOX ONE. Though it has nothing to do with MSX, the developer is said to be the same person who released the MSX shmups Kyokugen and Pleasure Hearts, so the quality is guaranteed. :)
If you are wondering if the developer really is M-kai, I heard it from his friend and also M-kai is credited in the Natsuki Chronicles official website.
