For sale is Shuumatsu no sugoshikata: The world is drawing to an W/end. The disks are alive.
Lately a buyer offered 18400 JPY. I initially intended to keep it but decided to at least give a chance to non-Japanese collectors. I will start in an "auction" style from 18400 yen, ending Jun 19 9 am JST which is 7 hours ahead of western Europe and 10 ahead of São Paulo.
I know this is a huge rip off but plz understand this stuff is a premium even in Japan and almost never appears in Yahoo Auction.

I personally don’t think it is very interesting to have this. Not at these prices anyway, I am not attacking you at all Takamichi don’t get me wrong and I understand price is set by supply and demand.

But I do think it is one of the games no dump exists for (but I might be wrong) and as such making a dump for preservation purposes would make sense! Do you (Takamichi) know if the disks are copy protected in anyway?

Now I understand that part of the whole supply/demand equation may be the existence of dsk images...

The disks probably aren't protected, they can be read on Windows. I suppose it's already dumped, at least it's not on the undumped game list.

This game is nothing fancy, just a visual novel about watching digitized pictures and reading texts. Promo video It's known for rarity and peculiarity, being "authorized fan port" of the Windows game of same name. Quality of the port is much better than MSX1 Outrun ;)
I didn't really think there would be a demand, I just wanted to make sure there won't be a diehard collector looking for this. It's only a collector's item.

A diehard collector here: I had bought it not too long ago at a price quite a bit higher than Takamichi listed. This game is indeed quite rare. I dunno if a general dump exists for the game. I did dump mine privately so it cannot deteriorate. Found a small issue at the end of disk 1 but don't know if that is due to deterioration or something else. Nice game with mouse support, and gfx and music. If you are a fan, it might be up your alley.

@Takamichi: that undumped game list is probably not a good list to base off of it, to see if it is dumped. There are quite some games/ software that is not for instance generation msx still and quite a few of those might also not be dumped.

The fact you bought means at least one person sold it. Strange, my disk 1 shows no sign of sector modification. I want to send you my disk image, but I cannot find your contact anywhere so message me if you would like to know.
I have so far realized most of games listed in generation-msx aren't dumped, thanks for the advice.

It would be good if the undumped list was updated if you find undumped games...

Generation MSX has more than 3000 entries, do you really think most are not dumped?

How to update the list?
Of course I didn't search for 3000 of them. I only try to find the dump when I see a particular title for the first time, so indeed I am trying to find the very rare ones, resulting in bias ;)

Hmm, I can see only four tabs, Page, Discussion, View source, History.
And when I choose "View source" I get the "You do not have permission to edit this page, for the following reason:" message so it's either I am not authorized to edit, or I am making a mistake somewhere.
And someone seems to have added The world is drawing to an w/end there already.

Hi Takamichi,

My sector 1437 gave a read error or something. Probably a minor degradation on my disk. I saw that your emai laddress isn't shown in your profile either. My address is tsunamitrans at hotmail dot com

Perhaps something is wrong with your account that you can't edit the wiki. Perhaps some admin can help you out?
