I will check it, but the problem was also with other .dsk files, I need to check on my last stream from MSX where it gave black screen reboot.

Has anyone tried to use the release version of Nextor 2.1.0 with Carnivore2?

I just plugged my Carnivore2 with firmware v2.40 and Boot Menu v2.40 into Yamaha MSX1 YIS-503II KYBT and I realized that the cartridge doesn't work in it. That is quite an unpleasant surprise because it works on this "machine" in the openMSX and it works on other MSX1s that I have.

Does anyone have the same or similar Yamaha MSX1 (not CX5M) to try their Carnivore2 there?

Works well so far, although I did find one issue for which I contacted Nestor.

I have a YIS503-II and a CX-11, I can give them a spin today

Does that one have network module inserted? It may be the cause of incompatibility. Also CP/M rom (or is that only on YIS503-III?

I removed the network ROM from the front slot and the network module from the side slot. Still, the machine doesn't boot from Carnivore2 and doesn't allow any other devices to boot either. I will go through the bus signals with my oscilloscope during the weekend.

This machine doesn't have any CP/M, Painter and other stuff. That's why I was quite surprised when Carnivore2 stopped working with it. I even tested it with Toshiba HX-10 in the 3rd (back) slot and the cartridge could fully use that slot. In the next version of the Boot Menu slot 3 usage can be configured.
