I just saw in the wiki area / youtube that an editor was made for Boulderdash. Any plans to finish/ release it?

Thanks for the mention,

I started this project in 2012 just for laughs, but due to lack time i never finished it.
My plan was to create more space in ROM for leveldata so you can create more complex levels.
I hope to finish the level editor some time, but at this moment i have no time to work on it.

This video was created with a ROM that was manualy edited on a HEX editor to change the leveldata
as proof of concept.

I am currently working on small projects, like a password generator for
"De Erfenis" / "l'Heritage" / "Inheritance" / "Die Erbschaft" / "La Herencia".

Here is a sneak peek of a early test version of a password generator,
for the 2nd part of the game (At the Airport).

Hi folks.
Using a Hex Editor on a Champion Boulder Dash rom, I could discover that:

284A-2859 stone color cave A-P (low byte)
285F-286E ground/dirt color cave A-P (high byte / low byte is always 0 but you can choose other color)
2874-2882 second/upper stone color according to the chosen MSX1 original pallete color on the stone color.
297E-299D Level offset sizes WORD.
29A7 Start of raw cave data A-P and the 4 intermissions.

Comparing the BD1 versions for MSX and C64, level data are almost the same, my personal goal would be to be able to find and convert a cave raw data from Arno or Firefox versions for example and modify the MSX rom with those level information.
