@st1mpy, its expensive, of course. Ikeda sold them cheaper. If you want brand new membranes cheaper, maybe you need to ask for 200, 300 or even more. For those quantities, you need quite a lot of people interested on this project, or you need someone taking the responsability of the whole project able to pay arround 7000€ and, of course, not getting too much profit of any membrane sold: Then, you will get cheaper membranes but, with a 50 units batch... imposible 
About the membrane sketch, it can be used for a new batch but, after waiting around 2 months for reservations trying to make a first batch, the possibility for a second batch is completly null. What I dont know about the membrane sketch is who will be the owner of it, I will ask it tomorrow to the business manager (today is holidays here).
@roadfighter, I will see if its possible avoid that extra tax and which limits are there if its possible, but last time I looked info about it that wasn't possible (or I didn't read that properly)
