Hi,

what is the function of the jack socket on the rear of the Panasonic Turbo R A1-GT ?

I've tried plugging into it a small amplifier, but no sound came out of it.

The ports are actually labelled. Google the word "katakana".

At this point the ST has a great advantage with its RCA audio output Smile

I'm using a DIN to SCART cable: the picture is very good, and the sound comes directly from the monitor's speakers.

It will be very easy to make an RCA cable that takes the audio output from the DIN socket.
