The Panasonic's turbo mode has been implemented?
You can read the long list of changes here : http://www.vik.cc/bluemsx/blueforum/viewtopic.php?t=1977 (3rd message)
A quick question: me and others experimented the impossibility to load CAS images with (real) machine configurations, so other than the built-in standard ones.
So, do the tape support has been fully implemented?
It's explained in the manual (that nobody seems to read)
http://www.msxblue.com/manual/runningcas.htm
For a fast loading of the MSX cas images, run one of the generic MSX1, MSX2 or MSX2+ machines as they come with a special patch applied on the BIOS rom.
If you select a specific machine, you need first to use the Machine editor to apply this patch and save the patched machine under a new name.
sorry... maybe I read it many years ago and totally forgot it... thankyou.
Hi guys,
Today I spent some time working on some issues I have with blueMSX:
1: blueMSX only remembers 1 cartridge "open" path(Folder) for MSX, Coleco and SG-1000+ (using the File -> Cartridge slot x -> Insert function)
2: if the machine is changed to Colecovision, then back to MSX or SG-1000+, joystick will change to "none"
so.. regarding #1, it will now remember a separate open path(Folder) for MSX, Coleco and SG-1000+, so when switching to SG-1000+, you'll be in your SG-1000+ rom's folder, or switch to the Coleco machine, you will see only your Coleco roms. The folder is saved from where you last inserted a cartridge from.
issue #2 is solved by defaulting to a 2 button joystick when switching back to MSX or SG-1000+ mode from Colecovision mode.
If you play Colecovision and SG-1000+ games and would like to help test these 2 new features before public release, send me a PM (click my name next to this message, and then "Contact")
best regards and happy retrogaming,

For the past couple days, I worked to improve the cartridge history for fans of MSX,Coleco,Sega SG-1000/3000/7000, and SVI-318/328. Heres a picture to show the new look of the cartridge history: http://s24.postimg.org/gxq5rfbc5/bmsx_nov25.png - Notice how each system's cartridges are nicely separated?
A public version will be ready in the next couple days - I want to make sure it is as bug-free as possible first :)
best regards and happy 8bit-ing,

More good news: today a bug was squashed that caused savestates to fail to properly load with the game R-Type (ROM versions), read the full story at: http://www.vik.cc/bluemsx/blueforum/viewtopic.php?t=1979
An updated blueMSX.exe (& source code diff file) will be released in a couple days after some more testing is done, to assure no little buglets are introduced in this new version.
best regards & happy thanksgiving,
