MRC user ray2day pointed us to his website where you can find more information on and images from a white Philips NMS 8280 computer called HCS 280. You don't believe it? Check it out for yourself right here
One of the guys at Compjoetania also had this model back in the days (he probably still does)
His father working at Philips probably had something to do with it.
b.t.w. Typical discoloration on all of the grey keys except the top row of the letters and the numeric pad. Never understood why those keys were immune to 'color-decay' over time.

Indeed... Most of the keyboards I run into "suffer" this issue... I can hardly believe there's any difference between the used material of the keys... Any scientists around here?
It has something to do with keyboard keys being resistent to burning caused by electrical shortcuts. Those upper keys are made using other fabrics than the other keyboard keys.
Cool
What does HCS stands for? Home Computer System, maybe?
Is it an standard 8280 or does it have any extra feature?
Maybe it was supposed to be an MSX2+?
