Package has been sent, and I got the tracking code also. I'm happy, because these are very good MSX goods. But obviously the shipping and communicating should be somewhat quicker.
Glad that your order is commin in Akiguchi!
At another small online store i ordered a CF-IDE card, after i submitted the order i got a confirmation (just like sunrise), after 2 hours i received the message that it was on the mail (they check their bank immediatly after orders come in)...that is good service.
Sunrise is not a bad onlineshop, not only because they support MSX, but also they probably try to do it right. Maybe their policy is a bit unclear for the customers; maybe they don't want personal contact via email, but maybe they should think about a forum where they can reply on matters on their own terms (less direct)
Finally got the Moonsound and Lost World game! Very glad about that!
Very strangely Pumpkin Adventure 3 and Witche's Revenge were missing on the package without any note. I wonder when I'll get those...
Why not ask Sunrise about it?
Yeah, I've asked him about it. The reason why I'm writing also here is because he isn't responding to these questions very well, so maybe there's a better chance that he might pick up these texts also. I got a response saying he has no idea why there isn't those games inside (whatever that would mean). So, he promised to send me a files of the game files by email. Maybe I'll get the real games still sometime...
It's just too much of a hassle to want them by regular mail, and I don't want to go through it. Of course I'm happy with the goods received (even if there wasn't a manual, cable or Moonblaster included for Moonsound), but all these little "shortcomings" left a sore taste to my mouth.
I doubt he (or anyone else) reads the forum better than his own e-mail, to be honest.
I don't think that nowadays you get manuals, cables or software with a MoonSound. That's a looong time ago. In fact, I think you never got a cable with it at all.
Tell us when you know when the rest comes or when you get some response, you ofcourse already asked them about it.
I just thought that I would get those things as I read from Wiki here saying "The MoonSound comes with a cable (mini jack to 2 × cinch; stereo) to connect it to a speaker. Also a black & white manual and the Moonblaster software is included."
Maybe that part could be then deleted from the wiki, because it is misleading.
So, where I could then download this Moonblaster if it isn't provided with the cartridge (I also asked Sunrise about it)?
Akiguchi: that text was written in 1998, things were different then. Maybe a cable was included, I don't know. I just haven't heard of it, but now that you mention that: maybe it was.
