*hoping that when 25 ppl sign up, sunrise takes the wise step to ship it with 640k*
It seems to me, this is a very interesting subject for the coming "DEVCON 04"
I would like to make graphics for an RPG anytime :-)
I don't have that big of a portfolio but I think I would be able to deliver some nice GFX... Nobody knows my work I guess but here goes anyway.
@Kenda
Music Maniac 1
Music Maniac 2
Music Maniac 3 (never released, but surely my best work)
@Datax
Track 3 - 6 (diskmagazine menu GFX)
Overload (though that was kinda rushed and thus I'm not so proud of it)
Some Strategic Army RPG style GFX which were never released and in a very early stage...
@Freelance
A Scroll demo never released
If peepz are interested I could upload some pics though....

Bring it on !
iirc you can upload your thingies to MRC always ..
You can. We welcome almost everything and we give it some frontpage attention as well. But yes, you could of course host the images on your own webspace and put them here in the forum to show I'm curious!
MrRudi: CDD is as fast as HDD, provided that you have a >1 speed CDD I myself have a Fujitsu 10X IDE CDD connected to my Sunrise ATA-IDE+RS232C Combo, and I tested with HDSPEED. Both HDD and CDD came around the 290kB/s. With Alex Wulms' R800-DR enabled, otherwise, speeds were halved.

But don't you have the problem of spintime with CD's? If you are non-stop streaming sure it's no big deal, but every once in a while?
Oh well, what do I care! I never was into technical stuff.
Well for once it would be cool to just exploid all hardware there is and create a RPG for GFX9000 and OPL4 on HD/CF (cuz of huge files-> gfx and samples eh)
g9k can do some GREAT (multi) scrolling etc.. whooh. but uhrm, does any emulator work yet with g9k?
Oh and r800/z380 ofcourse.. why not
Today I'll start making some test RPG GFX on the MSX... I'll keep ya'll peeps posted when I have some nice material.
