I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT MULTITASKING!!!! Please, read the posts, I've said it like 13 times! I know an MSX cannot multitask. Now THIS sounds like a true challenge. Every system can multi-task! Even though the speed leaves much to be desired. Everything that is done on the interrupt is in fact a task the machine runs. Playing music, doing any display movementcan be done on the interrupt as well... All these things a tasks running apart from the main task.
WiOS has one (1) application (not including the FS driver, which is part of the WiOS system itself): Clock, by Erik Maas. It's a terribly great analoguous clock, which does nothing more but displaying the current time. What's it good for? WiOS has't got a taskbar with a nice clock in it.
Really: I believe in improving WiOS. At the moment, it's a hack piece of software which could use a lot of optimization, but when that's done, blarmy, I'd love it! Just like some GFX9K tool 'PicView'. Terrific! If more of those programs could be adapted to oneanother, what would we live in a great world then. Don't you agree?I'd prefer such a GUI/OS to be fully coded in asm in stead of C. Every higher language has some way of doing assembly or inline execution so the GUI/OS can be accessed in any language. I think one of the major setbacks of WiOS not being supported at all is the fact it has no direct asm support for it.
So, no body ever tired MultiZ98?
I'm not, but I did a x try to reach novatech, and guess what?
I'v downloaded the 5 small files mention on that side, just a few minutes ago.
If it is allowed to redistribute this stuff, I'll send it to MRC HQ

Have you tried to decompress them? It seems these files are corrupted.

Well, I can't open them too, I try the repair function of zipmagic, and that don't work to.
But it's possible that these files are archived with a exotic archiver.
It's hard to believe that all of these files are corrupt.
Who can help or have an idea ??
