Thank you again, Mr. TheSpecialist.

Have you seen the ending? Perhaps you could send also some captures here to avoid the people playing the game during hours, if it is as boring as you say.

Kind regards and keep MSXing!

Ed Robsy

P.S: If you are a talented asm programmer or a GURU LOGIC super-fan, why don't you create some new levels? That will help everybody!

Does it have an editor? Where is it then? I seems not able to find it.

I was talking to TheSpecialist: if he is skilled enough to extract the passwords, I think that he will be also able to create new levels just looking at the ROM.
The editor is a separate MSX program that generates the new levels. It isn't finished yed, but I will publish it in the web page as soon as I conclude it.

Kind regards, BiFi.

>>lack of originallity and contestants (only three games?!). msx game programmers are vanishing<<
Definitely NOT... Most MSX game programmers want to work with MSX2 or higher, not MSX1 with 16K RAM. Although it's charming to work with such limited capabilities, as has been said in other threads about MSXdev'03, teams currently working on new MSX2 games didn't have time to make a MSX1 game.

i spoke loud and clear: MSX game programmers are vanishing

I wonder why you are always so negative about the MSX scene? It does not seem to follow the facts!

whose facts? the msx revival? the project egg? get a life! it is obvious the programmers have other things to do Smile

It's obvious that you don't have a clue.

Out of thin air maybe? Wink

Hell no... All these MSX programmers clearly state they are still very much active and anything but vanishing.

I was wondering, what's the status on the editor?

The editor still is in design stage. We are working in an enhanced version, because Jon Cortazar (the man behing PUZZLE FIGHTER) has joined KAROSHI and the new game will be also 32 KB, but with better sound, improved design, still graphics and even more stages. It will be ready by the end of February, I guess.

The editor is still in design stage? What did you do to convert the stages then?

I can imagine you want to continue with a new project, though I can also imagine people wanting to make their own puzzles for Gurulogic.
