The MSX IPS archive was updated with the following patches:

Furthermore, IPS patches for three games released on WOOMB (Aleste, Golvellius 2 and Xak) were released that should make these English translations of Japanese games run correctly on real MSX machines.

Um, AFAIK the Woomb games already work on a real MSX (although only the developer can test it)...

Did someone locate those patches anyway? I could only find a recent Xak 1 English patch, but it doesn't say it's for the Woomb version.

Aleste2 and Xak should work just fine, both require 128kB instead of 64kB though. Both games were localized with a possible 'hardware release' in mind, and we're really hoping at least an 'OCM release' might be a possibility some day. Nothing does a game justice like a big-ass box with printed manual... (and a tiny SD card in the center! Tongue)
