Crimson III - Partial English translation

MSX Review have published a partial English translation of the RPG Crimson III, which was released by Xtalsoft in 1990. In this version the following parts have been translated:

  • Introdemo
  • Menus in the beginning of the game
  • Main texts in fights, stores, etc.
  • The majority of the objects, weapons and magic items

The translation can be downloaded from the 'Miscelánea' section of the website.

Nice one. Hmm maybe they could make crimson 2 after they finished this one because I'm still stuck in that one. (at least the last time I played it.)

cool! I remember CII very well 'cz it was the first game I ever cracked.. ghehe. (removal of copy protection) never played it though... dunno why.. maybe just b'coz it wasn't Konami or MicroCabine quality.. well this translation sure makes me wanne dig up them old disk again! (darn, my turbo R diskdrive is to the filistijnen.)

About you cracking it. I hope that you did a better job as the diskimages floating arround the web since these are not good for Crimson 2. The game rechecks for something after you played quite some hours allready and that's were the diskimages and most copies floating arround screw up.

I mean CIII (forgot one "I") . . I never played it, could be double checking. but I changed the copy protection routine to always trick the game it's the original disk. never even seen cII before... gheh. ahwell, nevermind
