Great, i've been busy with making an intro logo based on the original box art in screen 2, but there doesn't seem to exist an msx drawing program for the pc that can load complete screens. So I can not clean up the artifacts after conversion.

Hi Sander,

You could use cvpaint (coleco paint) tool.
But I personaly like CharacterMaker 1999 better. It does not take the 2 colors per 8 pixels limit in account but is a pleasure to draw with....
I make my screen2 gfx with it and take care of the 2 color limit myself....

If you want to see the posibilties check the MOAM thread.

Impressive, hope your game will be finished someday. But another question: how do I get an sc2 image from jannone's conversion tool in cvpaint? It only accepts grp and scr. But renaming the file doesn't help.

I really need something that takes the color spil into account. BTW: this is just something for me personally. I'm not sure it will or can be used for the actual game.

Hehehe. There is another tool that I use. BMP2PP (IIRC) that converts BMP etc to CVpain format (PP powerpaint)

I never worked with janones tool.

Hello Sander! Your title screen looks very good! Thought it looks quite a bit too good for 1983 standards (at least when speaking about 1983 MSX games..Tongue) but never mind, I like to see that screen in cartridge version!! Smile It is really nice thing that you guys make such special features for cartridge! Smile THANKS!! It surely makes playing experience much better!!!!!! Big smile And it´s really nice to live at last in the world where 1983 MSX games had TOP CLASS HI-RES graphics like some games of some other computer systems had in 1983. Smile
