After adding several interesting titles in August we promised to bring you a lot more downloads in September 2003. The time has come to add the first load. We have just added the following titles:

  • New Sensation (Station) - A demo with a name that fits its contents
  • Paint IV (Juan Salas) - Tool to draw cool graphics in several screen modes
  • Relax (ANMA) - The stunning turboR demo that even works on MSX2
  • RMF Music disk 1 (RMF) - Cool music disk with songs created by Wolf
  • SCC Musix disk (Fuzzy Logic) - Music disk with songs created in SCC-Musixx
  • Sonic (Erik Huizinga) - Sonic the Hedgehog fan-art
  • The Freak - The very first Station demo disk
  • Uncle in Brazil (Abbyss) - Cartoonish animations on the MSX

Furthermore, we have added the following Moonsound songs by Dandan:

To top it off we added a tool to load and save BMP, JPG, PCX, PNG and MSX Screen 5, 7 and 12 pictures: JBSoft's MSXView.

In the near future we will add even more interesting titles. If you have created Moonblaster songs, MSX graphics or even complete games or demo's don't hesitate and contact us. We'll gladly add your products to our ever growing downloads database.

I downloaded all of DanDan's songs but unfortunately I couldn't load any of them with MB-Wave 1.15 Sad

I did some researching.... it seems the LFO data is missing from the songs, so these songs are made with older versions of MB-Wave. I guess I'll just have to use the version that came with my MoonSound then...

Hmm I could play all DanDan songs on version 1.15
and since the songs were created in 1996/1997... I think it's very unlikely version 1.15 was used to create these songs Tongue

I tried it in openMSX with MBWave1.15 and it didn't work. I also tried it on my MSX with MBWave1.05, which worked fine. I just tried again with MBWave1.15 on my real MSX, and then it works too. Also tried it on openMSX and now it works too!!! Then the problem was probably caused by extracting the files directly to a diskimage.
