Today, Matra have updated their website with a photoshoot of yesterday's MSX meeting in Barcelona: the 30th MSX user meeting! Their photoshoot contains no less than 60 photos taken on that day.

By the way, it would be cool if there would be a Dutch distributor for the Matragear, like the extremely cool T-shirts!

I attended the 30th Barcelona MSX Users Meeting. I have bought for 1st time Call MSX and I am very surprised about its quality, from now on I am going to buy all new issues of this fanzine (that it's almost a magazine). I couldn't get issues no.1 and no.2, though (no longer available). MultiROM cartridges with 8 games sold out quickly, I love the extended version of Operation Wolf (not to mention The Cure and Kralizec Tetris). I should have bought more than 1 MultiROM cartridge and put them on eBay with 'Buy It Now' for people who could not attend the fair.

The Matra site does not display very well on Firefox... some photos appear displaced and truncated (main page and Flash Gordon for example) Question

...other news:

Karoshi Corp. released Griel's Quest for the Sangraal EX and Saimazoom in cartridge edition produced by Matra, both with box, manual, rom label, plastic case and shrinkwrapped (10€ each game). Although all units of both cartridges were sold out at the RU, those games are to be sold at Matra's website very soon so anyone can order them.

Monster Hunter, a nice RPG that is being developed by nerlaska, was demonstrated at Karoshi Corp. stand. An intro of Speedjet Racers was shown too and demos from another upcoming games.

Paxanga demonstrated the game Tam Tam Twins, a nice MSX1 platformer and unveiled another wip MSX2 game.

MoaiTech released a CD full with PDFs from past MoaiTech fanzines.
