VGM charity album OneBigAlbum

Although not directly related to MSX the upcoming VGM charity album One Big Album might be worth keeping an eye on. The album is a combined effort of The Game Music Initiative and OneBigGame. The goal of the album - which will feature 17 tracks from game music composers such as Grammy award winner Christopher Tin and Masaya Matsuura - is to raise money for two charities, namely Save the Children and Starlight Children's Foundation.

To make the album a bit more interesting to us MSX fans, it is good to know that The Game Music Initiative is an initiative from Engine Software's very own Ruud van de Moosdijk and among the tracks featured on the album there will be a brand new composition of Bart Roijmans (Low_Profile). It does make one wonder though: which composers would you like to hear on an all-MSX VGM charity album?

Hmmm.... I don't want to disappoint someone here, but it's not MOA who will be contributing on this project -_- ...

o.O how did I manage to get that one in there? Smile Good to see some real Bart Roijmans action on the album, though... *blush*

And, for that matter: For a potential future edition I vote for a contribution of Michiru Yamane... and MOA! Smile
