In the 1990s, Impact was one of the Dutch groups that boosted the Dutch MSX community to a new level. Introducing a unique and catchy, Italo-based sound on MSX, they influenced many other MSX composers to do the same. Having composed many of the most popular Impact songs, it's no surprise Impact member BDD (Ben Den Dulk) had a go at composing music for other platforms as well.

Composing music in FAC Soundtracker and Cakewalk , using such synths as the Roland D110, Roland JV880 and Akai S2800 he produced several compositions under the name Amphian. In 1995 a label called First Impression Records released several of his songs on a double Vinyl album release called "Three Phase Fade". We have just added a 17 minute recording from this release to our downloads database which you can obtain right here. Vinyl collectors can try and get their hands on the collectible vinyl release, for instance over here.

SolidEric: might your browser give false referal information? In order to prevent deeplinking, the MRC downloads database and photoshoot currently (since a week or so) has referal-based deeplink prevention.

Snout, what you should do is allow requests *without* any referrer. In many instances, no referrer is sent, e.g. when downloading with a download manager, or when opening in a new tab, or manually copy/pasting the URL into something (to avoid the built-in plugin starting or something). When deeplinking, almost always the referrer will point to another site, so it will still prevent almost all cases of that, while not hindering access for people who get it from msx.org as you want.

pretty simple...and I like techno, trust me.
it's not bad, but it certainly ain't anything special at all.
And for a 1997 record it's pretty outdated too.

Discovered this one because of the Ridge Road soundtrack newspost.. very nice.. reminds me of the older trance just before the big trance boom of the late 90's early 2000's

I also found out he has a soundcloud for this Amphian alias https://soundcloud.com/amphian some more great dance tracks on there. I especially like D110 bubble arc.

Great stuff overal.
