Robosoft just sent us a small but fun freeware tool for our ever growing downloads section. Robomidi is a commandline midiplayer for Turbo-R (A1st) using a Philips Music Module. The timing is done by the Turbo-R hardware and uses R800 code. It plays any midifile to the midi out port of the Philips music module from any directory in DOS 2.xx. It was tested with DOS 2.3 and Multimente. Using it requires a no-brainer: just type RoboMidi FileName[.mid]

Just out of curiousity, but what about a GT+MusMod? Since it states ST so explicitely...
Got no use for it, just got an MSX2+ Tongue

Guantxip told me to ask you: It's there a way to make a driver from it, so it can be used in new videogames to add support for MIDI? I guess CPU usage is quite huge, that's why it uses TR, but maybe for TR games could be, or there is not much CPU left for the game itself?

Ty.

Great MIDI player, works perfectly with my Soundcanvas.
Good MIDI mapping.

It's a nice MIDI player, but it doesn't play all MIDI files at the correct speed... Hopefully this can be fixed. Also, a GUI like SAWP has should be great! Maybe the GUI can be turned off with a parameter if not desired... (when using Multi Mente for example)
