It was already rumoured in the comments sections of the MRC, but now announced officially on D4E's One Chip MSX website: due to requests from the MSX community, the One Chip MSX's default configuration has been given a memory boost. Originally the OCM was planned to have 256kB internal memory, now it has been confirmed it will ship with 1MB.
D4E's One Chip MSX website, on which the sale of the One Chip MSX to Japanese customers recently begun, further announces the size of the One Chip MSX computer: 135mm (width) x 156mm (length) x 32mm (height) and reveals early plans to release several VHDL improvements to the OCM specification shortly after distribution of the One Chip MSX has started. Naturally, we will report on further announcements concerning these upgrades.
