Remake of Time Out

You may have heard of an old MSX game called Time Out, a Spectrum conversion by New Frontier. The reason we mention this oldie is because of an announced remake. Back then, original artist Pepe Vila created some graphics for this project, but unfortunately had to abort his mission due to military service. Now returned - he reworked the visuals to fit the MSX capacities.

When unfamiliar with the game, it's nice to know that the 4 levels featured take you on a time travel through the prehistory, the middle ages, the wild west and the present day, so buckle up in anticipation of this adventure! Check out some screenshots at Konamito.

Yeah, must be...

Sorry for posting such STUPID things Tongue
Reminds me off that Dimmu Borgir / Agony rip off though... I think Dimmu Borgir loved that game so much they wanted to record a tribute or something.

Of course they loved it.
Even an amateur like Yuzo Koshiro realised Japanese game music is so boring that he had no choice but to rip off Chris Hülsbeck to produce a decent tune for a change and hope no-one would ever notice. LOL!

Anyway guys, please excuse the 'jokes', back on topic - I must confess that I didn't know the original game, but the graphics already look fine! Big improvement! Smile

Take a look at the first screenshot of Time Out on Generation-MSX. "Fustor" was the nickname of a workmate -former member of New Frontier/Bit Managers- whom I interviewed time ago. The interview will appear in the second issue of MSX AREA. :)

Interesting. Cool that people find those veterans from the past. Smile
BTW @ Bit Managers site; they made a game about that movie "Torrente"?
OMG, that movie is brilliant, I love it! Big smile

Yes, in bad taste, I know. Smile
But I remember we finished our tour in Spain back then, and heard about this movie.
So back in The Netherlands, we looked for it, actually found it and watched it with the guys, and everyone was like LMFAO.
There was also a girl from Madrid visiting then, she said "You guys like that movie? Oh, it's horrible, are you crazy?" Big smile
