The current PCM encoder can to be optimized using truncated Viterbi search (it would be a lot lighter and faster). Moreover, by allowing the encoder to choose which channel of the AY89-10 to modify, we could increase the quality even more.
(sadly in this case the room taken by the samples would be even more than the current).

BTW
I was expecting to see in "related" also this file

that has taken 70 downloads
Maybe they refer to a larger period than last month....

That counter is all-time downloads, it's not reset every month...
